Settle in for a scenic drive (approximately 4 hours) as you make your way to Tsavo East National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and intriguing stories of “man-eating lions.” En route, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife near the Aruba Dam, a vital source of water for the park’s inhabitants. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge, Ashnil Aruba Lodge, before enjoying a delicious lunch. As the afternoon unfolds, embark on your first exciting game drive within the park, searching for the diverse wildlife Tsavo East has to offer. After a thrilling day of exploration, unwind with dinner at the lodge and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, preparing for another exciting day of adventure tomorrow.
Fuel your excitement with an early morning (6:00 am) game drive in Tsavo East National Park. After spotting wildlife and collecting unforgettable memories, return to your lodge for a satisfying breakfast at 8:00 am. Following breakfast, bid farewell to Tsavo East and embark on a scenic journey towards Tsavo West National Park, another exciting destination (approximately 3 hours with game viewing en route). Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, either Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Severin Safari Camp. Relax and refuel with a delicious lunch before venturing out on an afternoon game drive. This thrilling adventure takes you to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where with a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of elusive black rhinos. As the day winds down, return to your lodge, ideally situated for breathtaking views of elephants, buffalo, and other animals gathering at the waterhole. End your day with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your chosen lodge, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Severin Safari Camp.
Embark on a final morning adventure with an invigorating breakfast before checking out of your lodge in Tsavo West National Park. Fuel your excitement for one last game drive, where you’ll visit the crystal-clear Mzima Springs. Keep your eyes peeled for a fascinating display of wildlife, including hippos and fish basking in the water, with a chance of spotting crocodiles and monkeys as well. Following your exploration, bid farewell to Tsavo West and journey back towards Mombasa. Relax and enjoy a delicious lunch on the return trip, arriving at your Mombasa beach hotel between 3pm and 4pm, leaving you with lasting memories of your unforgettable Tsavo adventure.
