In the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive, searching for the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) and a dazzling array of other wildlife. As the sun sets, return to your camp for a delectable dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the magic of the African night.
Rise and shine for an invigorating pre-dawn game drive at 6:15 am, searching for wildlife awakening on the Mara plains. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast to fuel your full-day adventure. Pack a lunch for your exploration, as you embark on a thrilling day deep within the park. Explore the vast Mara ecosystem, teeming with wildebeest during the migration (July-September). Keep your eyes peeled for zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, gazelles, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and even elusive black rhinos. In the afternoon, visit the Mara River, a haven for hippos and Nile crocodiles. Consider a guided walk with a ranger for an even closer look (gratitude tip recommended). Arrive in time for a farewell lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant, a unique dining experience (not included). Finally, relax and unwind as you’re conveniently dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport around 3:00-4:00 pm, concluding your unforgettable Maasai Mara adventure.
